Crafting slots dragon age inquisition

Been crafting items now with Masterwork status, and adding items in the slot for masterwork which has 40%chance of masterwork to increase stats by 10%, but when i craft the item, nothing happens and all it says is still "40% chance of masterwork 10% increase all stats" on the info window.
